Terms of Service.
The agreement between you and peryode when you use this website or buy from us.
1. Who we are.
Peryode is a direct-to-consumer wellness brand based in the United Kingdom. We sell the DualWave Relief Belt and related products through peryode.com. References in these terms to "we," "us," or "our" mean peryode. References to "you" or "your" mean the person using the website or placing an order.
You can reach us at any time by emailing hello@peryode.com. We respond Monday to Friday during UK business hours.
2. Acceptance of these terms.
By accessing peryode.com, browsing our content, creating an account, or placing an order, you confirm that you accept these Terms of Service and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the site.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page at the time of your purchase is the version that applies to that order.
3. Eligibility to use our services.
To place an order on peryode.com you must be at least 18 years old, capable of entering into a legally binding contract, and ordering for use within the United Kingdom (or an address we currently ship to).
The DualWave Relief Belt is designed for adult use. It is not a children's product and should not be used by anyone under 18 without medical supervision.
4. Products, pricing, and availability.
We make every effort to display the colours, dimensions, and specifications of our products accurately on the website. However, the way images render on your specific device may vary slightly from the physical product.
All prices are listed in pounds sterling (£) and include UK VAT where applicable. Shipping costs, where charged, are calculated at checkout and shown clearly before you submit payment.
We reserve the right to correct pricing errors that occur on the website. If we discover a pricing error after you have placed an order, we will contact you before processing the order to give you the option to confirm at the corrected price or cancel.
Product availability is subject to stock. If an item becomes unavailable after you order, we will notify you within 48 business hours and offer a full refund or alternative.
5. Placing an order.
When you place an order through peryode.com, you are making an offer to buy the items in your cart at the prices shown. Your order is accepted, and a binding contract is formed, only when we send you an order confirmation email containing your order number.
If you do not receive an order confirmation email within 30 minutes of submitting payment, please check your spam folder. If you still cannot find it, email hello@peryode.com and we will investigate.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order at our discretion, including in cases of suspected fraud, multiple refund attempts, or attempts to circumvent the limits set out in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
6. Payment.
Payment is processed at the time you place your order, through the secure payment providers integrated with our checkout. We accept major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, and Klarna where available.
peryode does not store your full payment card details. Payment information is handled directly by our payment providers, who are responsible for the security of that data under their own privacy and security standards.
If a payment is declined or reversed after dispatch, we may pause future orders from the same account until the matter is resolved.
7. Shipping and delivery.
We ship to addresses within the United Kingdom. Shipping options, costs, and estimated transit times are shown at checkout and detailed in our Shipping Policy.
Risk of loss or damage to the product passes to you when the carrier marks the parcel as delivered to the address you provided. If your tracked parcel is marked as delivered but you have not received it, contact us at hello@peryode.com within 7 days so we can investigate with the carrier.
You are responsible for providing an accurate and complete delivery address. We are not liable for orders delivered to incorrect addresses you have entered yourself.
8. Returns and refunds.
Our 60-Day Relief Promise gives you 60 days from the date of delivery to request a full refund if the product does not work for you. The full process, conditions, and exclusions are documented in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
This policy operates alongside your statutory rights as a UK consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Nothing in our terms limits or excludes those rights.
9. Use of the website.
You may use peryode.com to browse our products, place orders, manage your account, and access content we publish. You may not use the website to:
- Attempt to access areas of the site that are not publicly available
- Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code
- Scrape, copy, or systematically extract content for commercial use without our written permission
- Place orders fraudulently or with stolen payment details
- Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity
- Use the site in a way that disrupts service for other users
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the site and to cancel any orders placed in breach of these terms.
10. Intellectual property.
All content on peryode.com — including the brand name, logo, product names, written copy, photography, illustrations, design system, and source code — is owned by peryode or licensed to us, and is protected by UK and international intellectual property laws.
You may view and print pages for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or republish any part of our content for commercial purposes without our written permission.
"peryode" and the peryode wordmark are trademarks. Unauthorised use of our brand assets, including in advertising, packaging, or competing products, is prohibited.
11. Health information & intended use.
The DualWave Relief Belt is a wellness device designed to provide drug-free relief from primary dysmenorrhea (period cramps without underlying medical pathology) through controlled heat and calibrated vibration.
The product, our website content, and any communication from peryode are not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you experience severe, persistent, or unusual menstrual pain, or if you suspect an underlying condition such as endometriosis, fibroids, adenomyosis, or pelvic floor dysfunction, please consult a qualified healthcare professional.
Do not use the belt:
- If you are pregnant or believe you may be pregnant
- Over broken or irritated skin
- If you have a pacemaker or other implanted electronic medical device, without consulting your doctor first
- While sleeping or unattended
- In the bath, shower, or fully submerged in water

12. Reviews, testimonials & user content.
If you submit a review, photo, comment, or any other content to peryode (whether on our website, by email, or through our social channels), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, and publish that content in connection with marketing peryode and our products.
You confirm that any content you submit is your own original work, accurate to your experience, and does not infringe on anyone else's rights. We reserve the right to edit submissions for length and clarity, and to decline content that is misleading, defamatory, or in breach of these terms.
13. Limitation of liability.
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, peryode is not liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the website or our products
- Loss of income, profits, business opportunities, or data
- Delays caused by carriers, payment providers, or events outside our reasonable control
- Outcomes that depend on your individual physiology, where the product has been used as intended
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.
Our maximum total liability to you in connection with any single order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
14. Privacy.
We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
By placing an order, creating an account, or signing up to our newsletter, you consent to the data handling described in that policy.
15. Third-party links and services.
peryode.com may link to third-party websites, embed third-party content (such as videos), or rely on third-party services (such as payment providers, delivery carriers, or email platforms). We are not responsible for the content, terms, or privacy practices of those third parties.
Your interactions with third-party services are governed by their own terms. We recommend reviewing them before submitting any information.
16. Force majeure.
We are not liable for delays or failures in performance caused by events outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to: severe weather, postal strikes, supply chain disruption, public health emergencies, internet or hosting outages, government action, or acts of war.
If such an event affects your order, we will notify you and offer either a delayed delivery or a full refund.
17. Governing law and jurisdiction.
These Terms of Service, and any contract formed when you place an order, are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any dispute arising in connection with these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that consumers based in Scotland or Northern Ireland may bring proceedings in their local courts where local law requires.
18. Severability.
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision will be removed or limited to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full effect.
