The 60-Day Relief Promise.

Sixty days. One email. Full refund. You keep the belt.


The promise, in plain English.

You have 60 days from the day your order arrives to decide whether the DualWave Relief Belt earns its place in your life. That window is designed to cover at least two full menstrual cycles, so you can test the product on the days that matter most.

If at any point within those 60 days you decide the belt isn't working for you, send us one email. We'll process a full refund within 48 business hours. You don't ship anything back. You don't fill in any forms. You don't justify your decision.

The risk on this purchase is ours, not yours.


How to request a refund.

Step 1. Email us. Reply to your order confirmation email, or write to hello@peryode.com. Subject line: "Refund." Include your order number in the body if you have it handy. If you don't, no problem — we'll look it up by your email address.

Step 2. We process the refund. From the moment your email lands in our inbox, the maximum wait is 48 business hours. Most refunds are processed within 24. You'll receive a confirmation email when it's initiated.

Step 3. Funds return to you. The refund lands back to your original payment method within 3–5 working days, depending on your bank. We don't issue store credit unless you specifically request it.

Step 4. Keep the belt. You don't ship the device back. The belt is yours to keep, donate to a friend, or recycle responsibly through your local WEEE collection point.


What the promise covers.

The 60-Day Relief Promise applies to:

  • Any DualWave Relief Belt purchase, whether Starter, Relief Kit, Complete Protocol, or Gift Edition
  • Orders placed directly through peryode.com
  • One belt per household per 12-month period

The promise covers the product working for primary dysmenorrhea — period cramps without underlying pathology. If your pain is caused by endometriosis, fibroids, adenomyosis, or pelvic floor dysfunction, the belt may help functionally on bad days but will not address the underlying condition. We won't pretend it's a cure for chronic conditions.


What the promise does not cover.

Multiple refund attempts. The 60-day promise applies to one belt per household per 12-month period. We've had a small number of cases of customers ordering, refunding, then ordering again — that's fine, life happens. We've had a smaller number trying to game the system across multiple addresses or accounts. That gets flagged and declined.

Gift orders refunded by recipients. The original purchaser gets the refund window. Gift recipients can transfer the belt to anyone they like, but the refund relationship stays with the buyer.

Damage caused by misuse. The belt is rated for water resistance but not full submersion. Damage caused by submerging the device, modifying the device, or using it outside the guidelines in the included manual is not covered by refund.

Items beyond 60 days. After the 60-day window closes, your statutory consumer rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 still apply for manufacturing defects. See the warranty section below.


Damaged-on-arrival.

If your DualWave Relief Belt arrives damaged, do not wait the full 60 days. Email hello@peryode.com within 7 days of delivery with:

  • A single photo of the damage
  • Your order number

We'll dispatch a replacement same-day, no return shipping required for the damaged unit. No 60-day waiting period applies for legitimate damage cases.


Manufacturing defects & warranty.

The DualWave Relief Belt is covered by a 12-month limited warranty against manufacturing defects, in addition to your statutory rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015.

If your belt develops a fault within the first 12 months that is not caused by misuse, contact hello@peryode.com with a description of the issue and your order number. We will repair, replace, or refund the device at our discretion, in line with UK consumer law.

Statutory rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 apply for the full lifetime of the product where applicable, regardless of any voluntary warranty period offered by peryode.


Order cancellations before dispatch.

Orders can be cancelled free of charge at any time before they are dispatched from our fulfilment partner. Once your tracking number has been issued, the order is in transit and the standard 60-day refund process applies upon delivery.

To cancel an undispatched order, email hello@peryode.com with subject line "Cancel order" and include your order number. We will confirm cancellation within 24 hours during UK business days.


Why we built the policy this way.

The femcare category trained women to expect the opposite. Heating pads from the high street come with no guarantee at all. Most viral wearables have refund policies that read like legal traps. We've watched too many companies use "let us understand your concerns" as a euphemism for talking customers out of their refunds.

We built the 60-Day Relief Promise this way because asking a sceptical woman to spend £74.99 on yet another wearable, without a real way to test it on her own body and her own cycle, is a request she has every reason to decline. So we removed the risk entirely.
